The playoffs are close to there final stages and with only four teams remaning thhose teams are willing to do whatever it takes to reach the ultimate goal and to hoist Lord Stanley's cup high over there heads.  For the Bruins they are trying to get back to the stanley cup for the first time since 1990 and win their first cup since 1972. For the Lightning they look to make it there second trip back to the Stanley Cup in 7 years after winning it all in 2004.  The Sharks make there second trip to the confrence finals in two tears and hope to make there first ever stanley cup apperance.  The Canucks look to reach the stanley cup for a third time in team history, there first since 1994.

The 2011 Confrence finals for the stanley cup are finally set.
The Matchup are:
East- Boston Bruins (3) vs. Tampa Bay Lightning (5)
West- Vancouver (1) vs. San Jose Sharks (2)
The Bruins and Lightning already played game one of there best of seven series on saturday night with the Lightning winning 5-2. The western series will begin tonight.

The Bruins play the Flyers tonight at 7 in Boston and the Bruins fans will be out and about rooting for the black and gold.

The Bruins fell behind early 2-0 in the first but then they answered those two goals with two of there own to tie the game 2-2 at the end of the first period. Thats what the score would be till David Krejic scored with 5:06 left in ot to give the Bruins the win and a 2-0 series lead.

The Boston Bruins celebrate last night after Nathan Hortons OT goal to win the game and clinch the series in the very exciting game 7. The Bruins won 4-3 and it was an amazing game for all involved. The Bruins move onto face the Flyers in the second round while the Canadiens will be golfing Thursday morning.

Bruins fans want it!

The bruins and there fans are craving the chance to hoist the cup come june due to the fact they havent won since 1971-72.

2 Do or die game 7's on tonight

Tonight there are two key game 7's on the line. The first game is between the Flyers and Sabers.  The second is between the Bruins and Canadiens.  Both games are very important games for all of the teams playing for a berth into the second round.  They have both been very hard fought series and game 7 should be no different.

SHARKS WIN SHARKS WIN! & Lightning force game 7

Last night in game 6 of the best of 7 series the San Jose Sharks eliminated the Los Angeles Kings by winning 4-3 in ot.  The game winner was scroed by no other the San Jose's big gun, there captain, Joe Thorton.  The game was a very fluid game up and down the ice and bothb teams played great.  The kings put a tremendous effort in the series but  in the end it just wasnt enough to over power the second seeded sharks.

In the Eastern confrence the Tampa Bay Lightning beat the Pittsburg Penguins 4-2.  The win evend their best of 7 series 3 -3.  The game winner was scored by ex-penguin Ryan Malone on a beautiful break away slapshot.  Game 7 will be played on wednesday night in Pittsburg.
